Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Ozono handles when you shop in our online stores or write to one of our Facebook Pages or Instagram accounts. It is written to be understood without a lawyer.

The short version

  • Browsing our stores leaves no cookies and no trackers. We use no third-party analytics.
  • If you write to us on Messenger or Instagram, an automated assistant may reply. It always says that it is one.
  • We do not keep full conversation transcripts. We keep the minimum needed to answer you and to let a person pick the chat up.
  • We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.

What we handle, and why

If you only visit the store

Nothing that identifies you. Product pages are rendered on our server and write no cookies to your browser. Our hosting provider keeps ordinary technical logs (IP address, browser, page requested) on its own account and for a short time, like any website.

If you write to us on Messenger or Instagram

To be able to answer you, we handle:

  • The text of your messages, for as long as the conversation lasts.
  • Your Meta conversation identifier and your public name, if Meta gives it to us, so we know who to reply to and so a person on the team can take the chat over.
  • No payment data. The assistant does not ask for or store card details. If you send a payment receipt it stays in your Meta conversation; we do not copy it.

How long we keep it

  • The most recent messages of a conversation: 7 days, to give the reply context and to let a person continue where it left off. They then delete themselves.
  • Your name and the first line of your last message: 7 days, or until the chat is closed, only so the team can see who is waiting for an answer.
  • Technical message identifiers: 48 hours, so we do not answer you twice.
  • We keep no transcripts beyond that. The full history lives in your Meta conversation, which you control.

Who we share data with

Only with providers that perform a service for us, and only what is necessary:

  • Meta (Facebook, Instagram): the channel your message arrives and leaves by.
  • Anthropic: the text of your message is sent to their model to draft the reply. It is not used to train models.
  • Vercel and Upstash: hosting, and the temporary storage described above.
  • Google (Sheets) and Brevo (email): the store catalogue and internal notifications to the team. Those notifications say that someone is waiting for a reply and on which channel; they do not include the text of your message.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass it to third parties for advertising.

Your rights

You can ask us for access to your data, for it to be corrected, or for it to be deleted, by writing to gabosom@gmail.com. We reply to the same address. To have what we hold about you deleted, see how to delete your data.

Children

Our stores are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly ask them for data.

Changes

If we change this policy we update the date above. Significant changes are announced on this same page.
